Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Lexus ES 350 than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Lexus ES 350 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class in the front seats.

Convenience
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class requires fewer visits to the gas station than the Lexus ES 350, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Lexus ES 350 is clearly a better financial choice over the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Dimensions
The Lexus ES 350 is about the same width as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
When looking at overall length, the Lexus ES 350 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Handling
The Lexus ES 350 has about the same turning radius as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, allowing equal maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Lexus ES 350 is somewhat more powerful than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Powertrain
With its lower torque, the Lexus ES 350 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Lexus ES 350 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
