Comparison Review

Comfort
The Genesis GV60 offers rear passengers about the same room to stretch out as the Volvo XC90, with comparable head- and legroom. The Genesis GV60 offers just a little more front head- and legroom than the Volvo XC90, making it a little more comfortable for the driver and front passenger.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Genesis GV60 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Volvo XC90.

Dimensions
Since the Genesis GV60 is much slimmer than the Volvo XC90, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Genesis GV60, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Volvo XC90.

Handling
The Genesis GV60 has the same turning radius as the Volvo XC90, so they both maneuver the same in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the Volvo XC90 is clearly the choice over the Genesis GV60 for pulling heavy loads. The Genesis GV60 has a little more horsepower than the Volvo XC90.

Powertrain
The Genesis GV60 has much lower torque than the Volvo XC90, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Utility
The Genesis GV60 has less seating than the Volvo XC90, making the Volvo XC90 the better choice, if you need to chauffeur many passengers. The Genesis GV60 has less cargo space than the Volvo XC90, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.
