Comfort
The Audi A6 offers a bit more room for passengers in the back seat than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Audi A6 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Audi A6 as you will with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Audi A6 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Dimensions
The Audi A6 is about the same width as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
When looking at overall length, the Audi A6 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Handling
The Audi A6 has a larger turning radius than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, it's basically a tie between the Audi A6 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Powertrain
With its lower torque, the Audi A6 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Audi A6 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
